This is an invitation to explore.
We're really into food, cooking, and health, and we think you should be too. We don't have answers about how anyone should eat, but we have questions that we think everyone should ask: How does food affect our lives? How can we eat for health? How do we develop our cooking skills? Can we rekindle connection and appreciation for food production?

The Recipes
While we've tried eating vegan, vegetarian, paleo, grain-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, macrobiotic, and Standard American, we don't follow a specific "diet." That said, our recipes are based on the SOUL concept from Bauman College: Seasonal, Organic, Unrefined, and Local.
Most of the recipes here are gluten-free and dairy-free.
Why care about food?
We don't need to care about food or where it comes from. But, if we care about our families, health, athletics, the environment, sustainability, politics, or mindfulness, then we find ourselves coming to food somehow. As Dan Barber points out in the Netflix series The Chef's Table, we all come together "at the plate."
